What is Performance Coaching?
Performance coaching is the art and practice of inspiring, energizing, and facilitating the performance, learning and development of the individual. The purpose is to help people bridge the gap from where they are to where they want to be.
Coaching is all about helping others to identify and define their specific goals and then organize themselves to attain these goals. Coaching deals with building an individual's personal skills, while drawing upon a client's inner knowledge, resources, and creativity to help him or her be more effective and reach their potential. Coaching involves a structured process of facilitating creativity, visions, goal setting, action steps, and accountability. This results in achievement, fulfillment, joy, and overall happiness.
**Note: Coaching focuses on present issues and future development and is not psychotherapy. Coaching services are NOT intended to substitute for psychotherapy or traditional psychological services.
