Dr. Bradham began his professional training at Clemson University as a Psychology major with a minor in the Biological Sciences. He worked his way through Clemson as a student-athletic trainer with the Clemson University Athletic Department and was a member of Clemson’s athletic fraternity - the Block "C" Club. After graduating, Dr. Bradham then went on to complete a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. In 2000, Dr. Bradham received his Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University – a small private college in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Bradham’s professional training involved research, coursework, and applied experiences with extensive supervision along the way.

General Professional Background

Dr. Bradham has been employed in the mental health field since his graduation from Clemson University in 1990. He has worked with populations of all ages and has provided services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. From 2000-2004, Dr. Bradham was a Staff Psychologist at The Citadel Counseling Center providing mental health and performance enhancement services to the students of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Since the Fall of 2004, Dr. Bradham has been working as the Staff Psychologist at Naval Hospital - Charleston. He conducts evaluations and provides psychological treatment and consultation to active duty members of our armed forces. As a volunteer for the community, Dr. Bradham is also an active member of the Charleston Area Critical Incident Stress Management Team as well as the American Red Cross' Disaster Mental Health Team..

In addition to the variety of clinical settings, populations, and presenting problems that Dr. Bradham has had the opportunity experience, he has developed expertise as a presenter and educator. He has presented his research at professional conferences and has presented numerous workshops and seminars to the general community. As an instructor, Dr. Bradham taught general psychology and developmental psychology at Indiana University Southeast.

Relevant Performance Enhancement Background

Dr. Bradham has worked with youth, junior, collegiate and adult athletes in participating in a wide range of sports. Services have been provided to both individuals and teams and athletic skill level has ranged from novice to elite. In addition to the applied sport and performance enhancement experiences, Dr. Bradham has also conducted research in the area of sport psychology. Dr. Bradham took an extensive look at specific personality characteristics of college athletes and their relationship to athletic performance in both his Master’s Thesis and his Doctoral Dissertation.

In the business world, Dr. Bradham has assisted both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in defining their strategic plan for the future and in improving organizational efficiency and functioning.

Dr. Bradham has been in the business of facilitating change with individuals, teams, and organizations for close to fifteen years. He enjoys working with adults who are ready to take action in their efforts to maximize functioning, comfort, and personal potential. He is a big believer in the "two heads are better than one" concept and this collaborative approach is the style he prefers to use when working with his clients.
